Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact was released along with the XZ2 and it is considered the mini version because of the smaller screen (5.0 inches as compared to 5.7 inches). Some other notable differences include the smaller battery (2870mAh on XZ2 Compact and 3180mAh on XZ2) and a rear plastic panel instead of glass.
Otherwise, everything else is pretty much the same. We still have a powerful smartphone with Ambient Flow design, a 5-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 19MP memory-stacked Motion Eye camera capable of 4K HDR and 960fps FHD slow-motion video recording.
