Just a week ago, there were leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, showing the compact form factor of the device and few hardware specs of the phone. Today, we have received information that points to the fact that the new Galaxy S4 mini might be released this week.
This news seems to have been coming as the pictures were leaked online few days ago and people already had seen what the new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini looked like. We are expecting that Samsung will soon announce the new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and the set will be officially available in the market around May or June
Samsung Galaxy S4 mini specs and features
According to the resources, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available in two colors – black mist and white frost. There are also reports that Samsung will launch two Galaxy S4 minies with different specifications.
One will have one sim card slot and other will have 2 (dual sim). Both Samsung Galaxy S4 versions will have a 4.3 inch display with 8 MP camera at the back, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Samsung Touch Wiz Nature UX.
The one with single sim option might have a quad core process while the later one might house a dual core processor. Both the versions of Samsung Galaxy S4 minis are codenamed GT-I9190 and GT-I9192.
There are also certain reports saying about two other version of Samsung Galaxy S4 mini – one being the LTE edition GT-I9195 and CDMA version especially for China, the GT-I9198.
If we go back 2 years ago when the Samsung Galaxy S2 was announced, it came with a 4.3 inch display. But the amazing part is how people have shifted to much bigger displays now that even the manufacturers, like Samsung, are forced to produce bigger screen mobile phones. If you see it, the new Samsung Galaxy S4 mini has the exact same screen size expected as the Galaxy S2 even it is the mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S4.
