Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Model Number SM-G975* Differences

By Tuan Do

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is a high-end smartphone in the Galaxy S lineup released in its 10th anniversary. It has the price tag of $999 and comes with many changes from the hardware inside to the redesigned exterior.

The most impressive feature of the Galaxy S10 Plus is its mesmerizing Infinity-O display; That is a massive 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a precise cutout on the front for cameras, in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, HDR10+ certification, lower blue light emission, and accurate colors in any lighting condition.

Besides, it is equipped with a bigger 4,100mAh battery, a triple camera setup (telephoto, wide-angle, and ultra-wide lenses) on the back, and dual front cameras. The phone is also more powerful with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Samsung Exynos 9820 processor which can deliver 29% and 37% faster CPU and GPU performance respectively. Notably, the maxed-out S10 Plus has 12GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage which is expandable to 1.5TB with a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus comes in many model numbers for different markets and carriers. You should check the model number carefully before ordering the phone because the models have different processors, built-in storage, RAM, and supported cellular bands. All the model numbers start with SM-G975 but the latter characters are different. Let’s check out the differences between those models.

Hi, looking at the S10+ Plus G975 and the S10+ Plus G975FD. Anyone able to tell me the difference? I’m in the UK and also want to check if it will work off Idmobile network which is owned by Carphone Warehouse and uses Three mobile network band with. Any help would be great and any opinion as to which of the above phones would be better.

The G9750 says its China model.
Will it have the Chinese ROM installed making the phone not have Google Play Store?

Anyone who already owns the model can answer?

How will I know the correct model number? I bought my S10+ prism green in the Philippines. The store only put down G975 as model number but apparently, there are a lot of G975s. I would appreciate it if anyone can answer this. Thank you.

I’m about to buy this phone on Argentina but I want to know if 4g will work in Europe (Netherlands), where on the phone may I see the exact model? The seller let me use it and I went to the About and it says the model is only “SM-975F”, does this mean I will be able to use the 4g from Argentina and Netherlands? Or should I check something else just to make sure?

My local shop in New Zealand has SM-G975U (Snapdragon model) imported from the US. On the box it says SM-G975U but it also says Sprint SPHG975UBLU and has an MEID rather than an IMEI.

Does anyone know what differences there may be between the unlocked Sprint model and the factory unlocked US model?

Hi, i live in India. I am more interesed in snapdragon version of s10+ rather than exynos version sold here in India. So, if i get a phone from US( unlocked) i.e snapdragon version, will it work with Indian network carriers? Will i face issues other than warranty?
