VANKYO Cinemango 100 Mini Video Projector Review – A Great Budget Projector with A Defect

Updated on Dec 8, 2019 by Tuan Do

VANKYO has become a well-known projectors on Amazon in the last few years and I actually got hands on a few of them. Their products get better over the years and the VANKYO Cinemango 100 is really an amazing product.

Unboxing & Testing

Features & Performance

VANKYO called the Cinemango 100 a mini video projector but it is not as small as we expected. This is a medium-sized projector and it can fit my backpack easily. You can also keep it in the included carrying bag and carry it anywhere.

This is not a smart projector with a OS but it is actually a huge advantage. I really don’t want to use crappy OS that is unresponsive and full of security vulnerabilities at all. There are just a few settings to adjust sound and picture profiles. The Cinemango 100 has HDMI ports on the back, so I can easily plug in my game console, my laptop, a TV box, or a TV stick and start enjoying the content.

As soon as I turned on the projector, I was astounded by the clear and bright picture. According to the manufacturer, it can project to a large screen of maximum 220 inches, however, the video looks best at 50-60 inches. It features amazing specs with native HD resolution, 4,000 lux brightness, 2000:1 contrast and 50,000-hour lamp life.

The two rings on top can be used to adjust focus and vertical keystone correction. You should be careful with the keystone correction because a little change in the angle could lead to blurry image in corners. The video quality of this cheap projector is really outstanding and it could meet requirements of family use and small office. It looks sharp and clear in dark room and everything is still visible when I open the windows.

The only problem I have is a black spot in the bottom right corner. I clean the lens carefully and don’t see any problem here, so this might be the issue of the lamp. I guess my device might be defective because most other customers on Amazon are satisfied with the product. If you have the same issue, you shouldn’t be worried because the product comes with 3-year warranty and 100% money back guarantee.

Overall, VANKYO Cinemango 100 is unbeatable at the price of less than $100. It is a great value and we highly recommend the product.
