Nowadays, to find a ROM file of a certain Nintendo game is quite simple, you can download it easily with a Google search. The next problem is to have an emulator to play the game on your device. N64oid is known as the first Nintendo64 emulator for Android. This is not a free app, you have to pay $6 on the Android Market.

Besides, to be able to play these games smoothly, you also need a strong Android device with 1GHz processor such as Nexus-S, Nexus-One, Samsung Galaxy, HTC Desire, etc. As we can see in the videos below, the games MarioKart 64 and Bond 007 run quite well.

Some features of the app:

  • Settings to fine tune performance.
  • Save/Load game states at any points
  • Translucent vitual keypad that is very easy to use
  • use the G-sensor as the analog stick

Get N64oid on Android Market.
