When I tried to set up my Xiaomi Yeelight Light with Google Home, I added the light in the Yeelight app and then in the Google Home app successfully. However, when I made voice commands to turn on/off the light, the Google Home kept saying “It looks like the light isn’t available right now”.
I attempted to reinstall the apps and set up the light all over again, but it still didn’t work. Fortunately, I found out a solution and you can check it out in the video below.
The trick here is changing server in the Yeelight app from China to Singapore. As soon as I made the change, everything went smoothly again. So, let me know if you have the same problem and how you fix it.
