INIU P63 25,000mAh 100W Power Bank Review: The Perfect Travel Companion for My Apple Devices

By Tuan Do

I’ve tested quite a few portable power banks over the years, but it seems INIU has figured out a formula that simply works. Not long ago, I reviewed the compact INIU P50 and was impressed with it. After using the larger INIU P63 for about a month, I found that it follows the same philosophy while significantly increasing the battery capacity and output power.

Disclosure: We received the power bank as a courtesy for review purposes. However, the review is intended to provide honest, unbiased insights about the product, based on personal experiences and observations.

At first glance, the P63 looks almost identical to the P50. The overall design is clean and minimalist, with a matte finish that resists fingerprints well. The front features the same LCD display showing the remaining battery percentage, while a single button on the side powers the unit on or off and activates the display. I also appreciate the included USB-C cable which doubles as a lanyard, so I never have to worry about bringing the cable with me all the time.

Of course, the biggest difference becomes obvious as soon as you pick it up. The P63 is noticeably larger because it packs a massive 25,000mAh battery, roughly 2.5 times the capacity of the P50. Even so, I was surprised by how manageable it feels in daily use. It weighs less than 1 lbs, so I have no problem carrying around in my backpack or even sliding into my pocket. INIU also claims it’s up to 30% smaller than many comparable 25,000mAh power banks. It certainly doesn’t feel oversized considering the amount of power it stores.

The 25,000mAh capacity also hits a sweet spot for travelers. Most airlines allow power banks under 100Wh in carry-on luggage without requiring special approval, and the P63 stays comfortably within that limit. That means I can bring it on flights without worrying about airline restrictions while still enjoying one of the largest battery capacities permitted for everyday travel.

The P63 features 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port, giving me enough flexibility to charge several devices throughout the day. More importantly, one of the USB-C ports supports up to 100W Power Delivery output. This is a huge advantage over many portable chargers that top out at 30W or 45W.

During my testing, I regularly used the P63 with my 14-inch MacBook Pro. Unlike lower-powered power banks that merely slow down battery drain during intensive work, this one can actually keep up with demanding workloads. Whether I was editing photos, writing articles, or exporting videos, the MacBook continued charging instead of losing battery. It’s reassuring to know that I can leave my wall charger at home for short trips and still have enough power to keep working.

Naturally, I also tested it with the rest of my Apple devices. Charging my iPhone 17 Pro was incredibly fast. Starting from around 20% battery, it consistently reached approximately 80% in just over 30 minutes, which is exactly what I expect from a modern fast charger.

The large capacity also translates into plenty of real-world charging sessions. In my experience, I can recharge the iPhone 17 Pro approximately 4 to 5 times before the power bank needs recharging. My 13-inch iPad Pro can be fully charged around 1.5 times. Even my 14-inch MacBook Pro can receive roughly one full charge depending on the workload and battery level. Of course, the exact numbers vary due to charging efficiency and usage, but the P63 consistently delivered enough energy that I rarely worried about running out of power.

Recharging the P63 itself is surprisingly quick considering its enormous battery. Thanks to its USB-C input supporting high-wattage charging, I didn’t have to leave it plugged in overnight after every trip. Pairing it with a 100W USB-C charger significantly reduced downtime.

After carrying the P63 for several weeks, I also appreciated its solid build quality. The casing feels durable without being unnecessarily bulky, and the matte finish has held up well despite being tossed into backpacks alongside other gadgets.

Overall, the INIU P63 feels like a natural upgrade over the P50 if you need more power. It is suitable for anyone who travels frequently, works remotely, or carries a laptop alongside a phone and tablet. I always bring it with me whenever I leave home, especially on flights and longer trips.
