Check whether your account has been compromised or not

Updated on Aug 3, 2019 by Guest Authors

Every day or other we hear that this number of accounts have been compromised from this service or other. Recently in January this year 4.6 million Snapchat accounts were compromised.

Whenever this type of event occur one can’t be sure that whether there account has been compromised or not and they have to change their passwords and I personally feel that this step is cumbersome though important equally. So I Google about the possible solution and finally found one and thought that it needs to be shared with you guys.

Though services do send out mails to affected accounts to take the necessary steps but you can always trust them so to be on safe side use this service in my personal opinion.

All you need to do is go the link given at the end of this article and type your email address or username and click on pwned? And that’s it. If your account is compromised you will be altered for that same. In case your account is safe you have notify me option which tells you if your accounts gets affected in future.

There is another option named “Domain Search” which allows you to get a list of all the affected email address on a particular domain. You can use that search to find number of affected accounts.
