TSUMBAY TS-BH07 Wireless In-Ear Headphones Review

By Tuan Do

When testing new budget headphones, I always set the expectation bar very low because most of them sound terrible. The TSUMBAY TS-BH07 Bluetooth in-ear headphones stayed in my office for a while but I didn’t prioritize the product since I thought it would be just like other cheap product from China. However, its performance is much better than I expected.

Unboxing Video

Design & Features

The headphones come in a compact carrying case along with some accessories like extra ear tips and a magnetic charging dock. The design of the TSUMBAY headphones is a little different since it doesn’t use the micro USB port for charging, you will just need to place the magnetic connector of the headphones on the dock to start charging. It is supposed to make the charging more stable and faster. The charging time is around 2 hours but the battery lasts just about 5 hours on a single charge.

The magnetic charging dock is convenient but it also makes the headphones unwieldy as both the charging connector and controls are placed on the cable.

Wearing the headphones is quite comfortable and they have ear hooks to make the tips more secure.

Audio Quality

I didn’t have much time testing the headphones but I had to write this review just to compliment the audio quality.

As the TSUMBAY features active noise cancellation, you can turn on/off the feature with a switch on the in-line controls. However, the difference when turning on/off the feature is significant, so I don’t use it most of the time to save battery. Besides, the headphones already provide great noise isolation.

I was quite surprised when trying the headphones for the first time. They sound so different to other budget headphones; The sound is very clear and not bassy at all. Therefore, I kept listening to music for about an hour and my ears didn’t feel tired. I really love that the headphones don’t produce a muddy sound like others, so I totally can enjoy the details and a good reproduction of rapid transients.

Conclusion

Pros

  • Low price
  • Clear and detailed sound
  • Comfortable

Cons

  • Clunky design
  • Short battery life on a single charge

Overall, the TSUMBAY TS-BH07 in-ear headphones are a really good budget option if you want to enjoy music on the move. We totally recommend the product for the sound.
