Soocas Spark Electric Toothbrush Review

Updated on Nov 16, 2022 by Tuan Do

SOOCAS is a young personal care brand founded in 2015 with a variety of products, from electric toothbrushes, water flossers, shavers, to hair dryers. They have just released the Soocas Spark, a compact electric toothbrush that is just a bit bigger than a manual toothbrush.

Disclosure: We received the product in exchange for this review. We spent time testing it to make sure the review is honest and unbiased.

The Soocas Spark is a sonic toothbrush that produce 30,000 vibrations per minute; This helps clean between teeth, along the gum line, and remove plaque much more effectively than a manual toothbrush. I was so impressed with its design as it is smaller than all electric toothbrushes I’ve ever used. The handle is made of aluminum alloy with a diameter of just 0.63 inches. Inside the box, it comes with a traveling case and a USB-C charging cable.

You can plug the cable to the USB-C port hidden on the bottom of the toothbrush; A full charge would take around 2 hours and it could last more than 30 days under normal usage. The Spark is IPX8 waterproof rated, so we can rinse off the toothbrush without damaging it, just make sure to close the charging port after recharging.

On its body, there is only one power button, you can press on it to power on the toothbrush, or switch between two modes (Cleaning and Gentle). The removable brush head feature DuPont soft bristles that can gently polish our teeth. The Spark will run for a 2-minute cycle before shutting off and it will stop for a moment every 30 seconds to remind you to move to a different brushing zone in your mouth. While other electric toothbrushes on the market come with more buttons and fancy features, most people don’t need them when brushing teeth.

The SOOCAS Spark electric toothbrush has an original price tag of $40 but it is now $27.99 with 30% discount. This is not a cheap toothbrush, especially when you need to buy extra brush heads; they could cost $30 for a pack of 2 brush heads. However, there are very few budget electric toothbrushes that could compete with the SOOCAS in terms of design and build quality. This becomes an ideal option for people who travel a lot and need a compact electric toothbrush during their trips.
