Personal Capital – Financial Management App

By Tuan Do

This post brought to you by Personal Capital. All opinions are 100% mine.
Managing your financial life was never an easy task, however, with the amazing growth of mobile devices in the last few years, keeping all aspects of your finances is now on your hands. The Personal Capital’s mobile app is one of the solution for personal finances.

The Personal Capital app is available on Android devices as well as iPhone, iPad. Now you can access all your financial accounts in one aggregated screen. Information on our asset growth is presented in a beautiful, concise, and clear format. We can also integrate accounts from different places such as mutual funds, stocks, money market accounts, checking/savings.

You can track your income, spending, savings and investment performance all in one place. Also we can see where we could save money as the app identifies mutual fund fees.

The app is free and you can also get private investment advisor to provide additional account management services for a low 1% fee.

Here are some functions of the apps that probably you will find useful:

  1. Portfolio Performance
  2. Asset Allocation
  3. Mobile App opportunities
  4. Investment Check Up
  5. 401k Free Organizer
  6. Mutual Fund Fee Calculator
  7. Universal Check Up

The feature I like the most is that we can track income and spending, see largest expenses, and easily view transactions with Personal Capital Cash Manager. I am pretty sure we can manage our money better with this feature.

Sign up and download the Personal Capital App for your mobile device and let us know how it helps your financial life. Here are the links: iPad, iPhone, Android.
