iPhone 14 Pro Max is an expensive phone with starting price of $1,099 and nobody wants to use a phone with a broken screen or scratches all over the place. The estimated cost for screen repair is $379 and even when you are covered with an AppleCare+ plan, you will still have to pay $29. You can protect your phone for a fraction of that cost while still showing off its beautiful design. Mkeke is offering a lot of clear cases for the iPhone 14 lineup and it even comes with different frame colors for you to choose from. In this post, we are checking out the all clear and black clear ones.
Disclosure: We received the Mkeke cases in exchange for the review. We spent time testing it to make sure the review is honest and unbiased.
Mkeke is a young brand, they have produced iPhone cases for a few years but their products have received rave reviews on Amazon. Customers love the cases because they offer robust build quality at an affordable price.
Between the all clear and other color options, I actually prefer the all clear case because it doesn’t hide anything, including edges of the phone. And surprisingly, the clear case is the cheapest one, costing just over $15 at the time I am writing this review.
The case comes in a simple recyclable packaging; I could easily take it out and put it on my phone in seconds. It fits my iPhone 14 Pro Max perfectly and there are no gaps around the edges. The case is made from clear polycarbonate and flexible materials; It is thin and lightweight but the back is hard enough to keep the whole case in shape.
I haven’t spent enough time with the case to know if the anti-yellowing coating really works over time, so I will keep using this case and update this post, so you’ll know how long it will last. However, from my experience of using recent transparent cases, their quality have been significantly improved and will stay clear for at least 6-12 months.
In terms of protection, the Mkeke case surpasses my expectations. It fits the iPhone snugly, so the phone won’t fall out of the case when it is dropped to the ground. You can be confident that your phone will always be protected in any circumstances. Besides, it has raised bezels on the front to avoid screen breaking, and all 4 corners are protected with extra bumpers or airbags; These are extremely useful as they can absorb shocks from accidental drops. Last but not least, camera lens lips are raised by 3.53mm from the back to prevent damages to the 3 lenses; This is very important because some other cases have lower lips and when you place your phone on any surface, the lenses will touch that surface and can easily get scratches.
Overall, I really love the Mkeke clear case and will keep using on my iPhone. We totally recommend the inexpensive option if you are looking for a clear case for your new phone.
