Today at the WebOS Think Beyond event in San Francisco, HP has announced the HP TouchPad and 2 new smartphones Pre3 and Veer. This is the first major new device announcement from HP Palm since the acquisition in July 2010.
HP didn’t disclose their exact release dates and prices. All they said is just we can expect the Veer this early spring, the Pre 3 and TouchPad by this summer. Watch the full event here.

In terms of technology, the current iPad can’t be compared to the HP TouchPad. I guess this summer will be very interesting with the release of iPad 2 and Touchpad.
