As we mentioned, the EppieBasic LED Lamp has an ultrawide design, a 31.5″ bar to be exact. With this size, you can easily place over a dual monitor setup or an ultrawide monitor. The clamp of this lamp actually attaches to the desk, rather than the monitor as we have seen before. This provides the lamp with a more stable base. The working height maxes out at the 27.5 inches, so portrait monitors will not work. The bar itself is made out of aluminum alloy with silicone making up the movable and flexible neck to move the light. Buttons on the bar are plentiful. You have your on/off button, an auto-dimming button, and lastly, buttons to change the brightness and temperature. The auto-dimming is able to detect the room light and adjust accordingly, providing an easy way to keep your work area lit.

Moving on to the LED lights, the EppieBasic LED Lamp features 4 different color temperatures that can be used. 3000k and 4000k on the yellowish side then 5000k and 6500k for a whiter hue. The temperature is not the only thing that can be changed, the brightness is also adjustable. You can have the max output at 100% or tone it down to 20%. The 24W LED lights are powered by 12v power adapter that comes included with the LED Lamp. Lighting is great for video calling, working on documents, or general work that will be done on the desk.
The LED lamp is designed to provide less flickering and eye strain. You are able to move the light to keep your paperwork, product or whatever you are working on illuminated. The 45 degree angled design keeps the light from entering your eyes. Also, with the memory function, the lamp can turn on to the last set temperature and brightness
Final Thoughts
The EppieBasic LED Lamp provides a durable and bright lamp. The different temperatures and brightness provide options to keep a desirable illumination at all times. The auto-dimming will assist those not wanting to do it themselves. Also, the movable neck helps position the light. I think at the price, this lamp is a great option. The materials used are nice and don’t come off as cheap or easily breakable. The clamp is a great upgrade to those that only attach to the monitors.
