Case Logic DCB-307 SLR Camera Bag Review

By Tuan Do

I have reviewed many bags for DSLR cameras, however, many of them have compact design and can’t hold big cameras with additional accessories.

I received the Case Logic DCB-307 from Lovecases for reviewing and I really loved the bag at first sight. It is not really big but it is surely big enough to hold most SLR cameras with extra lenses and accessories.

The DCB-307 bag belongs to the Case Logic DCB line which is designed to fit most cameras on the market. Though this is a medium-sized bag in the series, it is optimized to provide enough space without adding any bulk. Specifically, the bag could fit devices with size of up to 23.1 x 14.5 x 22.9 cm.

There is nothing special about materials used to build this bag, it is still the familiar polyester/nylon as we can find on most Case Logic products (check out our review of the Case Logic SLRC-205).

Check out the outer design of the Case Logic DCB-307.

I was quite impressed with the main compartment of this bag. It is spacious enough to keep your camera with attached lenses, additional 2 other lenses and accessories such as charger with power cord. You can also see padded dividers which are customizable to suit your needs. You even can remove all of them to get the most out of this compartment. However, I prefer to keeping these walls to protect my camera and lenses.

The lid of the main compartment can also be used to keep slim accessories such as memory cards or cleaning cloth.

On the outside, there are extra pockets to keep more accessories. The two pockets on sides could hold your batteries, cable or lens cap while the pocket on the back could be used to keep your notebook, map or manual.

The bag could be carried using its padded handle or attachable shoulder strap. The image below illustrates how I carry this bag using the strap.
