IELTS is known as the international standardised test of English for higher education, immigration and employment. There is no pass or fail mark. Scores are given on a Overall Band Score of 1 to 9. The table below can be used for the Listening and Reading tests to convert raw scores to band scores.
This chart is a guide only, because sometimes the scores adjust slightly depending on how difficult the exam is.
