1MORE Triple-Driver Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones Review

By Tuan Do

I’m not a fan of in-ear headphones because just a few of them could fit my ears snugly and they don’t sound as good as bigger cans. Surprisingly, the 1MORE Tripe-Driver Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones meet all my requirements and become one of my favorites.

Unboxing Video

Design & Build Quality

The 1MORE headphones features a familiar design with a soft silicone neckband that can be folded for easy storage.

I love that they use the USB-C for charging, so I don’t need to worry about the direction of my cable. However, the charging port is hidden at the end of the neckband behind a cover; The cover gets loose very often even though I tested the headphones for just over a month. Fortunately, this is not really important as it doesn’t affect my experience with the product.

Similar to other 1MORE products, the Bluetooth in-ear headphones come with 5 extra sets of silicone tips, 3 sets of foam tips, a USB-C charging cable, and a carrying pouch. The default ear tips fit my ears perfectly and I didn’t have to swap for others.

The only problem I have is that the audio gets out of sync when I watch videos on my iPhone XS Max. Surprisingly, I don’t have this issue with my Android smartphone and LG TV. Besides, the battery life of the earphones is not really impressive. It often lasts just about 5 hours of continuous music playback, so I have to recharge it every 2-3 days. I expect a much better battery from a neckband design like this.

On the plus side, the Bluetooth range is great and I can walk around my apartment without any connection loss. It can work well with some devices that have terrible Bluetooth transmitter.

Audio Quality

As expected from 1MORE headphones with triple drivers, the bass response of these is amazing. It is strong and deep without overwhelming other ranges. The mids and highs are pretty clear with a good amount of details and accuracy. When I crank up the volume, the sound is still clear and powerful without any distortion.

Many people said that the headphones have a neutral sound but I think they lean more on the lower frequencies to create a warmer sound. Overall, that’s an entertaining rich sound with good stereo imaging.

Conclusion

Pros

  • Great design and build quality
  • Good Bluetooth range
  • Full and rich sound

Cons

  • Average battery life
  • Bluetooth latency

The 1MORE headphones still have some limitations but overall, they are a great choice for less than $99. We at TechWalls recommend the product.
