We have known that there is a relationship between using mobile phones and brain cancer. In recent posts, we also see some mobile phones with lowest SAR level and some other with highest SAR level. However, we couldn’t see the appearance of iPhone in both of the list. So, how about the radiation of the most popular smartphone? Let’s take a look at the SAR level of the 3 iPhone’s generations, iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS.
Among the 3 iPhones, iPhone 3GS has the highest radiation level with 1.19 W/kg while the iPhone 4 comes second with 1.17 W/kg. The iPhone 3G is the safest version as its SAR level is just 1,03 W/kg. All of them are in the safe zone, however, their SAR levels are quite high compared to some other phones.
Apple recommends us to hold the iPhones at least 15 mm away from our heads. Some other tips are using bluetooth headset, speaker and staying away from them when possible.
