iPhone 5 Aluminum Back Case

By Tuan Do

All the rumors of iPad 2 ended after Steve Jobs announced the new tablet last week. Now, the world is buzzing about the upcoming iPhone 5. In the latest rumor, a Taiwanese source reported that iPhone 5 will feature an aluminum back case like in iPad 2 and its antenna will be moved back inside the shell.

Apple decided to produce the iPhone 5 with aluminum casing because many consumers complained about problems such as damages from scratching, issues with white painting and the aluminum case is lighter and more durable than glass. Besides, iPhone 5’s antenna will be placed right behind Apple logo so that cellular and Wi-Fi signal can penetrate easily. Possibly Apple wants to avoid serious issues in iPhone 4 like “Antennagate” and “Death Grip” from now on.

Although the iPhone looks better with aluminum, this would be a hard decision for Apple to change their additional iPhone design. However, everything can happen until the release of iPhone 5 this summer.
