Last weekend, we saw Android Market exceed 10 billion app downloads with an amazing growth rate. The number of downloads has increased by 1 billion per month since July 2011. I wish I already have an Android phone when this type of promo went up. I was looking at the Super KO boxing 2 like Hacky Sack was. Hopefully, Google will do this again someday. Maybe when they hit 2 billion? I guess that would be 5-8 years from now..

With the growth of Android, I believe it will reach 2 billion app downloads in just 1-2 years. Anyways, I think they will have another promotion next year to celebrate something else, for instance, when the number of Android devices activated each day reaches 1000000.
