Tronsmart Element T6 25W Portable Bluetooth Speaker Review

By Tuan Do

This is a great time for tech enthusiasts to be alive. We all now can buy gadgets at much lower prices than we did a few years ago. The Tronsmart Element T6 costs just over $40 and has received numerous positive reviews on Amazon. We’re going to find out if this is another great deal.

Unboxing & Sound Test

Design & Features

I’m really surprised with the design of the Tronsmart speaker. It really looks too good at such an affordable price. The exterior is covered by a soft woven mesh and rubber parts to make the speaker more durable.

On the back, we have a micro-USB port for charging and an AUX port to connect to other devices.

All control buttons are located on top of the speaker, including the power, track skipping, play/pause, and phone buttons. Besides, you can adjust volume by turning the outer ring.

It is equipped with a massive 5,200mAh battery. The battery life could last more than 10 hours on a single charge.

The Element T6 features Bluetooth 4.1 and I have no problem with the wireless connection. I connect it to my phone easily and didn’t have any interruption during my test.

Audio Quality

I was so excited with the Tronsmart because of its great build quality and it’s received a lot of compliments from users. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as soon as I started playing music. You can check out sound test in the video on top of this article.

The bass is over boosted and it sounds really terrible when cranking up the volume. Besides, the speaker even moves by itself on some surfaces. On the other hand, the mids are subdued and they make the vocals and instruments sound so far away. The highs are another disadvantage of the speaker and they make the sound less airy and more boxy. Overall, the Tronsmart is only acceptable at low or medium volume levels. When you play it out loud, a lot of limitations are revealed and you won’t be able to enjoy the music.

Conclusion

Pros

  • Good build quality
  • Long battery life
  • Low price

Cons

  • Average sound

The Tronsmart Element T6 is not a great sounding Bluetooth speaker but it has a low price tag and you can even buy it at a much cheaper price when it goes on sale. It’s really worth considering if you can buy it for less than $30.
