When you run a small e-commerce business, a shipping label printer is a must-have tool for you. You might accept a slow or clunky printer at first, but when you receive more orders, they will start showing inefficiencies. If you’re an online seller on eBay, Amazon, Shopify, or Etsy, the new Phomemo PM64D is a professional label printer that is worth checking out.
Disclosure: We received the printer as a courtesy for review purposes. However, the review is intended to provide honest, unbiased insights about the product, based on personal experiences and observations.

Once taking the Phomemo out of the box, I was immediately impressed with the small display on top. I’ve tested many label printers but this is the first one equipped with a touch screen. Other printers like Munbyn rely on button presses and blinking lights, which could be confusing sometimes. The PM64D gives me a clear, easy-to-read screen that shows Bluetooth status, label calibration, and any errors in plain text. If there is any issue, I can fix it immediately. There’s even a one-click QR code guide right on the screen so I can jump straight to a step-by-step help page. It removes the guesswork and eliminates the blind operation I’ve had with other printers.

The PM64D has a reprinting button on top which is extremely useful for sellers who handle multiple packages a day. With a single tap on the printer, you can instantly reprint the last label without reopening the app, reconnecting your phone, or resending the file. This makes printing multiple identical labels, creating backup copies, or running quick test prints easier.
You can connect the printer to your computer or your phone. Just install the Labelife app and pair it with the printer via Bluetooth. The app makes printing extremely simple. I can import labels in PDF, PNG, or JPG files, which covers pretty much every label format across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. There’s no resizing nightmare or weird formatting issues as the app does the heavy lifting. This makes the whole printing workflow faster and more reliable than what I’ve experienced with the software from other brands.
In everyday use for eBay sellers like me, the Phomemo saves a lot of time because I don’t have to reconnect Bluetooth, reload labels, or troubleshoot scanning issues. I can print from the app quickly and because the unit has a small footprint, it fits perfectly on a busy workspace.
One of the biggest differences between the printer brands is connectivity. The PM64D gives me a stable USB-C connection for batch printing and quick Bluetooth for mobile printing. Whether I’m shipping from my MacBook, or grabbing my iPhone to print an eBay label on the go, the printer handles it smoothly.

With my old printers, I constantly had to reload labels, realign the roll, or clear random misfeeds. Phomemo solves that with a built-in snap-on label stand attached to the back. I used some printers with a stand but it was separated from the printer itself. This integrated design keeps everything in one compact footprint and prevents the labels from sliding around. It also makes the whole setup look cleaner and more organized. The printer itself is about 20% smaller than the typical Munbyn, and that portability actually matters when your desk is constantly filled with boxes, tape, and packing materials.

Print quality is another strength of the Phomemo. The 203-DPI high-definition output makes every label crisp and sharp, I printed some 4×6″ shipping labels and was quite satisfied with the quality. When Phomemo says 100% courier scan success, I can see why. And the printing speed is extremely fast as well; Each label prints in about one second.
If you’re running an online store and want a printer that’s designed for modern workflows, the Phomemo is probably the professional thermal printer you are looking for. You can buy this product on the Phomemo official website or buy it for just $159 during Black Friday and Cyber Monday on Amazon.
