Lefant F1 Robot Vacuum & Mop Review

Updated on Dec 23, 2021 by Tuan Do

Robot vacuum is among the best hi-tech gifts this holiday season. Those vacuums used to have a premium price tag but now we can buy a lot of decent robots in the $100-$200 price range. In this post, we are checking out the Lefant F1 robot vacuum and mop.

Unboxing Video

Features & Performance

The product comes in a compact box but once I opened it, I was quite surprised as it comes with all kinds of accessories, including:

  • Lefant F1 robot vacuum
  • A charging station
  • A power adapter
  • 4 side brushes
  • An extra HEPA filter (plus 1 included in the dust bin)
  • A mop bracket
  • 2 washable mopping pads
  • 10 disposable mopping wipe
  • A 2-meter magnetic strip

It is quite straightforward to set up the vacuum; Basically, you will just need plug the dock to a power outlet and put the robot on the dock to fully charge it for the first time. Then, you can turn it on and start cleaning your house immediately. I really appreciate that there is a cord management system on the back of the dock as it helps the setup tidier.

The robot has a Lefant app to control some more settings but that is totally optional. If you want to control it with the app, set it up with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for voice controls, or set up vacuuming schedule, you will need to install this app. It also offers a map showing current route of the robot, however, it will disappear as soon as the cleaning session finishes. This app doesn’t create a permanent floor plan and of course, you can’t create no-go zones or no-mop zones. It also can’t divide into multiple rooms so that you can clean a specific room only. This is understandable because Lefant F1 is not a high-end vacuum with LiDAR mapping technology. The Lefant just uses anti-collision infrared sensors around its body for navigation. This is not ideal for cleaning a large house with multiple rooms but if you live in dorm or in a small apartment with a couple of rooms, the F1 is good enough.

An advantage of the Lefant F1 is its compact size. It has a diameter of 11″ and height of 2.7″, therefore, it can easily get into tight spaces. Besides, the dust bin is visible when you look at the top of the vacuum. Therefore, you can easily see the dust collecting process while the robot is still running. The design does not only looks cool but also helps us check the bin quicker. It has a large capacity of 600ml, so we probably don’t need to empty it after each cleaning session.

The robot features a brushless port instead of a brush bar on the bottom. The design can’t atigate the surface as efficiently but it has a powerful suction power up to 4,000Pa. Besides, it has a large 3,600mAh battery that could last up to 200 minutes. I tested the vacuum in a small room and never have to worry about the battery life.

Overall, the Lefant F1 is a basic robot vacuum that is suitable for average consumers living in a small house/apartment. It is not the cheapest option on the market but it comes with some nice features like tangle-free design, great suction power, and voice assistant support. The vacuum has the original price tag of $299.99 but it is on sale for $254.99 but you can use the code 07USLHF1 during checkout to lower the price to $178.99.
