Power banks used to be bulky bricks that nobody wants to carry around but now they’ve become more sleek and compact than ever. The new Pocket Rocket P50 has created some buzz as it is marketed as the world’s smallest 10,000mAh 45W fast-charging power bank. I was excited to check it out because I always needed a backup power bank during my hiking or camping trips.

Design and Portability
Size and weight are very important for me because I want to pack light for hiking. I always looked for the smallest gears to save space in my backpack. The Pocket Rocket is incredibly compact, measuring 3.3 x 2.0 x 1.0 inches and weighing just 5.6 ounces. This makes it much easier to carry, I can fit it in my pocket or backpack corner. Because of the size and capacity of 10,000mAh, you won’t have any issues during air travel.

I love its sleek design with a matte finish that prevents slipping and rounded edges for comfort. They offer a lot of color options like Pink, Green, Blue, White, Purple, and Black. Mine is the black one and it looks great.

The P50 features 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port, so you can charge up to 3 devices at the same time. The braided cable is color-matched to the power bank and it feels very durable. It’s been tested for durability, passing over 11,000 bend tests and withstanding a 13.5kg pulling force. The cable cleverly doubles as a lanyard, so we don’t need to remember or carry a charging cable.

The integrated 0.5mm Genius display is small but it is quite useful with real-time information about the battery level. The display is clear and readable, even in bright sunlight.
Performance
The 10,000mAh battery capacity is impressive for such a small device. In my tests, it charges my iPhone almost twice, and I can even use it to charge my Macbook Pro M4. It can top up the battery of my Macbook for an extra 40-45%, or around 7 hours of normal usage.

Another advantage is the maximum output of 45W. These speeds are remarkable for a compact power bank and it is useful when I need a quick top-up during busy days. Previously, I had to buy larger, heavier power banks to have higher output. I tested this with my iPad Pro, which charged from 20% to 80% in 1.5 hours. Additionally, the power bank itself recharges quite quickly, you can fully charge it in just over 2 hours when connected to a 20W charger. This ensures the power bank is always available when needed.

INIU has incorporated TinyCell Pro tech for ultra-dense battery cells, which allows for higher capacity in a smaller size. The multi-tab design improves heat control and efficiency, while NVIDIA-grade inductor components reduce heat, extend runtime, and protect device batteries from wear and tear. In terms of safety, it is equipped with 18 layers of safety protection to guard against common risks such as overheating, overcharging, and short circuits.
Conclusion
The INIU Pocket Rocket P50 is among the best mini power banks on the market. There are just a few similar products that could offer 10,000mAh capacity and 45W fast charging at such a low price of just around $33 on Amazon or its official website. We highly recommend you to check it out if you are looking for a portable power bank.
