Design & Lighting
The lamp came in a small box and it was super easy to put the parts together. The whole process takes just a few minutes and doesn’t require any tool. I just use my hand to turn and tighten the parts together. I am so impressed that all the parts are made of metal, including the base, the pole, and the lampshade.
The lamp has the same torchiere design as many floor lamps on the market. However, unlike my previous lamp, the BoostArea doesn’t use a transparent lamp shade. Instead, it focuses on the upward-firing LED lights and we receive lighting from ceiling reflection. Having said that, the LED lights are very bright as they can emit up to 2,400 lumens. They don’t use a replaceable LED bulb but the lifetime of the LED lights are pretty long, so you won’t have to replace them for years.
The lamp brightens up my 180 sq. ft. with ease and I really love the beautiful natural lighting with color temperature of 3,000K. It has a knob on the pole offering stepless brightness adjustment, so you can easily make the lighting suitable for your room. The lamp is not bright enough for book reading but it is perfect for my bedroom or living room at the end of the day. The reflected lighting feels so easy and comfortable for my eyes.
Overall, I love the BoostArea lamp and I’m actually still using it every day. We at TechWall totally recommend it.
