AVANTEK Motion Sensor Night Light Review

By Tuan Do

I am a lighting enthusiast and LED lights with a built-in motion sensor are always my favorite product. I no longer have to search blindly for the light switch since I started using the AVANTEK LED Night Light.

The product has 14 LED lights and it delivers a pure white light with the color temperature of 6510K. It actually comes with 2 sensors, including a light sensor to keep the light off in a bright environment and a passive infrared sensor to detect movements. It can detect motion at a range of up to 10ft within a 120-degree arc.

As this is a wireless light, it is very easy to set up. You can use the magnetic strip or the 3M adhesive to mount the light wherever you want, like under cabinet, closet, hallway, toilet.

The button on the side will help us switch between 4 modes, which are Off, Always On, Sensing at 100% Brightness and Power-Saving Sensing at 40% Brightness. You can manually turn it on and off to use as a flashlight, or set it auto activated by motion.

The AVANTEK light is powered by a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery. So there is no mess of electric wire, and you don’t need to replace the battery. The battery life is quite impressive, a full charge provides up to 500 times of sensing at full brightness. In the continuous lighting mode, it could last a couple of hours.

Overall, this is a helpful product for your home. We at TechWalls.com highly recommend the AVANTEK light.
