yeedi vac vs vac max vs vac station – Which Robot Vacuum is Suitable for You?

Updated on Sep 4, 2021 by Tuan Do

yeedi vac series’ lineup include 3 robot vacuums, which are the yeedi vac, vac max, and vac station. If you are new to the brand, it might be confusing to choose the right vacuum for your house because those versions share a lot of similarities. I have the chance to test all of them and I’m going to compare their features and performance in this post.

Which One To Buy?

Choosing the right robot vacuum totally depends on your needs and budget. In fact, they have the same form factor and design with white exterior, therefore it might be difficult to distinguish them without looking at included accessories. In terms of features, they all have the same yeedi app, so you can use advanced features like mapping, auto carpet turbo mode, no-go zone, virtual wall, scheduling, etc. After setting up the app, you can also connect it to your voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Home. All the sensors and camera are identical, so they will offer the same performance in mapping and navigation; That means you can’t go wrong with any of the version.

The yeedi vac is the entry-level version and is also the most affordable one. As compared to more expensive ones, it has just a few shortcomings like the lower suction power and shorter battery runtime. However, these are not really a problem since I rarely use a robot vacuum at maximum power and the battery is good enough for most apartments and small houses. Although the yeedi doesn’t have a mopping bracket and self-empty station, you totally can buy those accessories separately when you want to make an upgrade in the future.

The mid-range vac max is an upgrade from the vac as it features the maximum power of 3,000 Pa, longer battery runtime, and a mopping bracket. The differences are insignificant but the vac max absolutely can capture more dirt and debris when cleaning rugs and carpets. I don’t use the mop regularly but many people do, so the mopping bracket with cloth pads would be very helpful for them.

Robot vacuums with self-empty station is the trend of the year and I’m so glad yeedi jumped in the market with the vac station. This is essentially the same robot as the vac max. The only difference is that the vac station comes with a self-empty dustbin instead of a simple charging dock. I’ve used some robot vacuums with self-empty station for a few months and it is impossible to come back to cheaper vacuums. The vac station can clean my house automatically and I have never had to deal with emptying the dustbin after each cleaning session. I just need to swap out its dust bag every 3-4 weeks. The price difference between the vac station and vac max is just $100, so I think it is totally worth it. I’ve seen many other brands sell their self-empty station separately for $200 or even $300.

I hope this post helps you find out the right vacuum to clean your house. All of those yeedi robot vacuums are available on Amazon now. If you have any question, feel free to leave a comment below.
