Tomons DL1002 Scandinavian Wood Desk Lamp Review

By Tuan Do

The Tomons DL1002 is a beautiful desk lamp inspired by the Scandinavian design. I’ve used it for the past 2 months and here is the full review.

Unboxing & Assembly

Design & Performance

The product comes in some pieces but it’s not difficult to put them together. You can check out the assembly video above, it would be ready to use in just a few minutes.

The body of the Tomons lamp is made of natural wood, therefore, it feels great and fits well to any decoration. The metal base is quite heavy to keep the lamp steady, and the power cord is very well-braided. You can also find a power switch on the cord.

Since the lamp doesn’t include any light, you need to have an E26 light bulb to use it. I’ve tested it with the LOHAS and Revogi smart LED bulb, and haven’t got any problem at all. The manufacturer recommends using a LED bulb with the wattage from 4W to 6W, or energy saving bulb 8W-11W, or incandescent bulb 15W-25W.

The lamp is quite flexible as almost all joints are adjustable. The design allows you to use it as a reading light, a desk lamp, or a bedside lamp. The only concern is that the screws might get loose over time. I haven’t had any accident yet but I think they should be tighter.

Overall, the Tomons DL1002 is a nice budget desk lamp. I love the design and find the lamp suitable to use with my smart LED bulbs. We at TechWalls recommend the product.
