After spending a lot of money for the Tesla Model Y, my remaining budget is low for accessorizing the car. There are some must-have accessories I need to buy and of course, I can’t buy them directly from Tesla’s store because they are expensive. There are some cheaper options on Amazon but they still cost a few hundred bucks. I ended up buying rear seat back covers, floor mats, and a roof shade for my Tesla from TEMU, and here’s my experience and insights on whether buying Tesla accessories on TEMU is a good idea.
One of the primary concerns when buying accessories from TEMU is the quality of the products. I was pleasantly surprised by the items I received from TEMU. The rear seat back cover, floor mats, and roof shade all demonstrated decent quality, comparable to what you would expect from Amazon. Moreover, these 3 products cost me just over $170.
- Rear Seat Back Cover: The cover has provided excellent protection for the back of my seats, especially when I lay them down to place items over the back seat. The material is resilient against potential scratches or spills that can occur during transportation. It also fits snugly and securely, blending seamlessly with the car’s interior.
- Floor Mats: These mats are robust and well-made, capable of withstanding daily wear and tear. They offer great coverage and protection for the car’s flooring and rear cargo, moreover, they are much easier to clean with a wipe or water.
- Roof Shade: The roof shade effectively blocks out sunlight, reducing the cabin temperature and providing a more comfortable driving experience. The fit is precise, and installation was straightforward.
Interestingly, the accessories I bought from TEMU look remarkably similar to those sold on Amazon and probably they come from the same factory. The only disadvantage is that I had to wait a bit longer to receive the products. If I order from Amazon, I can receive within 2-3 days; However, it took more than a week for the delivery from TEMU.
Based on my own experience, buying Tesla accessories on TEMU is a good idea to save some money. I bought 3 accessories for my Tesla and I’m totally happy with the product quality.
