The Lumary 6.8ft Christmas Cone Tree Lights are an eye-catching addition to holiday decor. While the tree has a few imperfections, its advanced features and impressive performance make it stand out among similar products on the market.

Setting up the tree is a straightforward process, and the instructions are easy to follow. Assembly can be completed by one person, and the included ground stakes ensure excellent stability, especially for outdoor use. Even in high winds, the tree remains secure, thanks to its sturdy base design. However, I had an issue during setup as 3 plastic clips intended to secure the light strands to the base were missing. I managed to work around this by using zip ties, but it was a slight inconvenience.
The LEDs on this cone tree are exceptional. Using RGB point-controlled technology, the lights can display up to 16 million colors and multiple hues simultaneously. The vibrant and bold display is far superior to many other cone trees. The Lumary app offers an extensive range of customizations. With the app, you can design personalized lighting scenes, create animations, and even make the lights display words or phrases, although the images might not be easy to see. I also like the star topper; It could be set in a bright yellow color or synchronize with effects on the light strips below. This adds a unique touch to the holiday season.
It also features the music sync capability. The built-in microphone on the adapter enables the lights to change and “dance” to surrounding music. There are 4 rhythm modes available, which bring an energetic and festive atmosphere. You can control the tree using the Lumary app, a 40-key remote control, or a physical button on the plug. While the remote requires a direct line of sight to the plug to work effectively, the app offers an intuitive interface and a broader range of features.
Designed for durability and outdoor use, the tree has an IP65 waterproof rating. The timer and scheduling functions available in the app add convenience, so you can automate the lights based on your preferences.
Despite its many strengths, the tree is not without flaws. One LED bead was non-functional right out of the box, which was disappointing and slightly detracted from the overall experience. The missing clips and dead LED highlight quality control issues that could be improved.
Overall, the Lumary Christmas Cone Tree Lights deliver a stunning and dynamic display that brings joy to my family. We really love the existing lighting effects and this could become a great option if you can’t bring a fresh Christmas tree inside. At 6.8 feet tall, the tree is versatile enough for both indoor and outdoor use. I bought it for just over $90 and if not for the small quality control issues, it would be near perfect.
