With the newly introduced Apple iPad 2, the aftermarket tuning company Brabus had the opportunity to upgrade its multimedia system iBusiness for Mercedes’ S-Class vehicles.

The iBusiness 2.0 includes 1 or 2 iPad 2 tablets in the rear compartment, they are connected to a Mac Mini located in the luggage compartment through a WiFi connection. With a dedicated app, these iPad 2 tablets can be used to control not only entertainment system but also all functionalities of Comand system on the S-Class including radio, navigation device, phone, etc from the rear seats.

These tablets are placed behind the front seat with a small table designed by BRABUS. These leather tables are electrically deployed and hold the iPad and Apple’s Bluetooth keyboard. There is also TFT 15.2″ display with 16:9 aspect ratio on the roof, it is also electricially deployed and used as a secondary screen for the iPad. Besides, there are 2 built-in screens on the back of headrest of the front seats, they are used to view digital TV broadcasts or other video content via the UMTS and HDSPA Internet connections.
