Intocircuit Power Castle 15000mAh External Battery Pack Review

By Tuan Do

External battery chargers become cheaper and cheaper, now you can buy a 15,000 mAh battery for less than $40. However, are they really good products? Today we are going to test the Intocircuit Power Castle 15000mAh External Battery Pack.

Unboxing

Design & Features

The Intocircuit charger has an impressive build and feels very sturdy with aluminum exterior. On top of the power bank is a LCD screen showing battery level and charging status. You can also press on the nearby button to turn on/off the screen and the built-in flashlight.

The are two output ports supporting full-speed 2.4A charging, so you can charge two devices at the same time.

Performance

The charger worked pretty well in the first week. I could fully charge my smartphone and tablet, and the battery still had about 30% left. I left it for a week and the battery dropped just a few percents. Everything was perfect and I thought this is a decent product and deserves 4.6 rating on Amazon.

Unfortunately, when I tested the charger again last week. The battery level dropped to 0% and all my efforts to charge the power bank failed. I tried to charge it again with different cables and wall chargers but it couldn’t hold the charge at all. So I guess this is a low-quality product or probably a defective one.

Conclusion

Intocircuit Power Castle 15000mAh External Battery costs you about $39. I don’t recommend this product because it didn’t last long in my case.
