Docomo Casio Ca 01c – 3D Smartphone from Japan

Smartphones from Japan are getting diversified and richer recently and Docomo Casio Ca 01c, the joint project between NEC Japan and Casio, is a great example for the trend. This is known as a 3D glasses-free smartphone with a dust and water-proof physical body.

Casio Ca 01c has a 3.4 inch screen with the resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and a 0.8 inch OLED subdisplay. It is aimed with a 3D touch display allowing users to view 3D without the use of glasses, this is like what we have seen in the LG Optimus 3D or HTC EVO 3D.

The camera of this device is quite amazing as well, it sports a 16.3 Megapixel CCD / CMOS Camera that can provide pictures with the max resolution of 3456 × 4608 pixels. Of course, it is HD and 3D picture, video taking capable and the sensor comes with autofocus human face detection capabilities. The device also includes connectivity features like DLNA, Bluetooth, e-wallet connection, infrared connection, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a digital-TV-tuner. On the sides, we can also spot microSDHC card slot and an HDMI interface.

Another great feature of Casio Ca 01c is the capability of dust and water-proof, this is in compliance with IPX5/IPX7 standards. It can continue to function normally after being put into water to a depth of 1.5 meters. The battery of this device is quite impressive, it can stand upto 220 minutes while talking and 580 hours on 3G standby mode.

      Yes, this is the most advanced camera phone this year and it can run on Android also.
