CHOETECH Waterproof Emergency Flashlight Review

By Tuan Do

I couldn’t imagine myself reviewing a flashlight on TechWalls, however, the CHOETECH is not a simple flashlight you’re using at home. It’s actually an all-in-one solution to help you in case of emergency. Let’s check out its offerings.

Unboxing Video

Design & Features

The product looks just like another compact flashlight but it offers a lot more than that. As a flashlight, it has a button on the body to operate. A long press will turn on the light, then you can press once to adjust the brightness. When you want to turn on the flashing SOS light, you just need to double press this button.

The flashlight is fairly bright with the output of 250 lumens. Moreover, it’s IPX6 waterproof rated, so you will be able to use it under any kind of weather.

On the other side, you can see a built-in glass smashing hammer and a seat belt cutter to help you escape from your car in case of emergency. The window breaker feels very strong as it is made of stainless steel, it is also covered in a rubber cap to prevent scraping up your glove compartment.

I haven’t got a chance to test it on my car, so I’m not sure how easy it is to break my windows. But I guess this shouldn’t be a problem because the steel point feels so tough and sturdy.

Removing the head will reveal the rechargeable 5200 mAh Lithium-ion battery inside. The capacity is big enough to charge your smartphone once or even twice. I also love that it supports 2.1A fast charging, so my Samsung phone can have a full battery in less than 2 hours.

I don’t know when I will need to use the CHOETECH flashlight but I always keep it in my car just in case. I highly recommend you to get one also.
