Black Friday Must-Have: HOTO 12-in-1 Electric Screwdriver, A Perfect Gift for DIYers This Holiday Season

By Keffer

The holidays are just around the corner, and many people are getting ready to assemble decorations and gifts. A reliable screwdriver is a staple for such tasks. I recommend a product that will make your assembly work easier and let you enjoy the hands-on process – a HOTO 12-in-1 Electric Screwdriver. This multi-bit electric screwdriver represents HOTO’s challenge to the classic screwdriver, aiming to innovate the outdated stereotype of bulky hand tools. HOTO Tools offer a more refined, cool appearance and better performance, making it easier for users to assemble furniture, engage in personal DIY, and handle everyday repairs.

The standout feature of this straight-handle screwdriver is its storage design and tool performance. The screwdriver and bits are precisely arranged in an aluminum case. It comes with 12 sturdy S2 alloy steel bits, with hardness reaching 60HRC, covering a range of types: Flat Head (SL4), Cross Head (PH1, PH2, PH3), Hex Head (H3, H4, H5, H6), Torx Head (T15, T20, T25), and Pozidriv (PZ2). These bits are perfect for assembling chairs, tables, socket repairs, door lock replacements, and dismantling parts on vehicles. Notably, these bits are 50mm in length, allowing access to hard-to-reach areas.

Beyond compatibility, this screwdriver is extremely user-friendly. A rotary knob lets you switch from OFF to three torque settings. According to HOTO Tools, its electric torque can go up to 4 N·m, with a manual maximum of 8 N·m. The OFF setting prevents accidental activation of the electric screwdriver, enhancing safety. The screwdriver offers three torque levels, with a no-load speed of 220 RPM, ensuring efficient use for furniture assembly, bookshelves, plant stands, or bike modifications. However, it’s worth mentioning that this model doesn’t provide a super-gentle torque setting for delicate electronics, as its higher torque could cause stripped screws or damage. To address that, HOTO also offers a precision screwdriver series designed for such needs.

Operating this screwdriver is also very straightforward. It features two buttons located toward the front, allowing you to easily drive in or remove screws with just a press. These buttons are conveniently positioned under your thumb when you hold it, making operation intuitive. One of my favorite aspects is the circular LED light around the head, making it easier to work in low light. HOTO states that this screwdriver is equipped with a 1500mAh battery, capable of assembling over 1,000 screws on a single charge, and it includes a Type-C port for convenient charging anytime, anywhere.

This screwdriver is ideal for tech enthusiasts and those looking to upgrade their home tool kit. Its sleek design also makes it an excellent gift option. HOTO’s motto is “We Make Cool Tools.” Although their products can be a bit pricey during regular days, they tend to offer significant discounts during Black Friday. If you’re interested, you can check out their selection on Amazon or Costco.
