Battlefield 4 Official Trailer Debuts – launching in fall for PC

Updated on Aug 2, 2019 by Guest Authors

One of the biggest gaming franchise in the first person shooter category, Battlefield, is getting the next series entry by this fall for PC – Battlefield 4. There was not information about the possible release of Battlefield 4 on other consoles but few points hint that it might be released for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox 360 successor.

In an event yesterday, game developers DICE showed a heart breaking 17 minute of Battlefield 4 gameplay video. The starting of the video was proceeded by Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” playing in the background, the frag opened with Recker,a protagonist, waking up to find that his outfit is trapped in a Jeep and that he was sinking to the bottom of the ocean along with the jeep.

“These 17 minutes of Battlefield 4 gameplay provide an exclusive look at BF4’s single-player campaign. With dynamic destructible environments, epic vehicular combat and the chaos of all-out war, Battlefield 4 gives you the freedom to do more and be more for an unrivaled entertainment experience,” according to the website.

Before the actual event that uncovered the Battlefield 4 gameplay video, a shorter version of the same video was uploaded to a YouTube channel but it has been taken down as copyrighted material.

In a nutshell, the long 17 minute video was totally worth every second of it and it really shows how much effort both EA and DICE have put into perfecting the Battlefield 4. Using the Frostbite 3 engine to pump up graphics to an utter high quality demonstrates how much power this new engine is.

With the release date set this fall 2013, EA continues to maintain its yearly circle of launching the new game in the Battlefield 4 series. There were also rumors about the next Call of Duty game, a heavy opponent in first person shooter for Battlefield, but there is still no news on that.

The pre orders for Battlefield 4 has started with a $59.99 price, but its like more than half a year till the game actually comes out. Gamers who will pre order the game from specific outlets or Origin will get a special expansion pack containing bonus items and before release Battlefield 4 beta.

The trailer looks spectacular. Surely going to purchase this title for my PS3. Seems to be quite alike MW3.
