Star Wars Yoda 8GB USB Flash Drive Keyring Review

By Tuan Do

If you are a Star Wars fan, a USB flash drive could be something missing in your collection. Fortunately, Tribe released a USB flash drive Star Wars collection with 8 figures divided into two groups of Light side and Dark side. I got myself the Yoda 8GB USB Flash Drive Keyring, let’s check it out.

Design & Performance

As this is an officially licensed merchandise from Disney, I expected something of high quality. The Yoda is tiny and looks very adorable, however, he looks a little pale as compared to the real character.

The figure is made of TPU material, it feels like some kind of soft rubber, so it can absorb shock very well and protect the USB flash drive inside. The details and finishes don’t look as great as on my other plastic toys, but they are acceptable.

The USB flash drive will be revealed when you pull the Yoda’s head out of his body. I don’t really find a good use of this flash drive because it has a low capacity of 8GB and uses the old USB 2.0 standard, so transferring big files from your computer will take a lot more time.

The product is actually a figural keychain, however, it is a little big if you put it in your pocket. It will fit better in your bag, purse or backpack.

You can buy the Yoda USB flash drive keyring for about $17 on MobileFun. This is not something to boast of but it is a nice little gift for a Star Wars fan.
