Snapdragon powered Xiaomi Mi3 to launch next month

By Guest Authors

Today Xiaomi announced its new smartphone called the Xiaomi Mi3. Now Xiaomi Mi3 is a reshape of the old model that was launch a few months back when Tegra 4 processors were announced and it was one of the smartphones that had tegra 4 chipset in them. With the new phone comes better processing power and memory.

Aside from all the top smartphone manufacturers out there like SONY, Samsung and Apple etc, there are also some other companies like Xiaomi that are famous for their smartphones (just like Xiaomi Mi3). Xiaomi is a Chinese company that is why it’s not as famous as the other companies globally. In China, Xiaomi is very famous for its high end smartphones, which rank in the top ten smartphones around the world but with half of the price what other companies are offering.

Xiaomi-Mi3

Xiaomi updated both the Processor and RAM in their new Xiaomi Mi3 model and clocked it a little higher than the old tegra 4 processor. It comes with the new Snapdragon 800 quadcore processor that is clocked at 2.3GHz compared to 2.2GHz on the tegra 4 and with a higher RAM that is 933 MHz compared to 800 MHz on the tegra4 version, but the good news is that the smartphone will be priced the same as the old one which was 1,999Y.

When we come down to its specs aside from the processor and the RAM it’s a pretty good phone with the latest hardware and with an affordable price that includes a 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 13MP camera and to power it all a 3050mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi3 also comes with a heavily customized android jellybean 4.2 preinstalled.

It is still not clear whether Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi Mi3 in the USA or other European countries as well but for now, people in China should be excited about the new Xiaomi Mi3 and its powerful processing power. The launch date for the phone has not been reviled yet. The only downside about the phone is that it won’t be available globally.
