Okaysou AirMic4S Air Purifier Review

By Tuan Do

Okaysou is a new company founded in 2018 and they are selling a couple of air purifiers on Amazon. The Okaysou AirMic4S is one of them and it is the smaller version designed for small areas.

Unboxing & Testing Video

Features & Performance

The AirMic4S has a compact design measuring 8.7 x 8.7 x 11.8 inches. It is designed for small rooms where you can place it on a desk or your nightstand. There is nothing special about the design and working mechanism of this air purifier. It still uses a fan to suck in the air through air inlets on the bottom, then the air is cleaned when passing through filters.

According to Okaysou, they use the medical-grade H13 HEPA filter which can capture up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. They are also offering other kinds of filters like Pet Filter, Germ Defense Filter, Toxin Absorber Filter, or Odor Remover Filter. They recommend you to change the filter after around 6 months, a replacement filter costs more than $20. Apart from the HEPA filter, it also has a washable pre-filter to capture pet hairs or other large particles.

The Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of the machine is 125 m³/h which is capable of cleaning up to 300 sq. ft. in 20 minutes. It features 3 fan settings along with an ultra-quiet sleep mode; The noise level ranges from 24–51 dB. All settings can be adjusted with touch controls on top of the air purifier, here you can find the fan speeds, timer, sleep mode, night light, and filter change indicator.

Overall, this is a basic air purifier and it gets the job done. If it could be improved with an air quality sensor and built in with more filters instead of having to buy separate ones, that would be really awesome.
