Nova Swivel Counter Stool Review

By Tuan Do

When I was searching for new seating for my kitchen, I came across many options from IKEA, Wayfair, or Bob’s Discount Furniture. Some options are great but they are too expensive. I ended up with the Nova Swivel Counter Stool from CHITA and was excited to give it a try because it could fit my space perfectly. I chose the Counter Height version; If you need a bar stool, there’s also a Bar Height available at a slightly higher price.

First, the assembly process was simple. Each stool took me about 15 minutes to put together, and the instructions were straightforward. The stool felt solid, no wobbling or loose parts, which gave me confidence in its build quality.

The frame feels heavy-duty and well-constructed. After daily use for more than a month, everything still feels just as tight and stable as day one. The footrest bar is firm and doesn’t flex when I step on it.

The faux leather upholstery looks and feels fantastic – soft to the touch, easy to clean, and looks premium. The padding is supportive without being overly plush, which works well for me since I use it for meals. I also appreciate the swivel function, which makes getting on and off the stool much easier without needing to push or drag it around.

I love the modern yet timeless design and don’t have any complaint. You can buy the product in 2 or 3-pack for around $120 per stool. I’d highly recommend the counter stools.
