Recently, we’ve seen a lot of improvements in Asus’ products and it is not a surprise that Asus’ tablets have become the 2nd choice after Apple iPad 2. Two of the most expected tablets released this year are Asus Eee Pad Slider and Transformer 3G. We have seen how the Wifi version of Transformer sold out in just a week, however, the 3G versions of Eee Pad Slider and Transformer could break the sale record.
The UK division of Asus has announced that the Slider and Transformer 3G will be officially released this August. That’s all they disclosed and we haven’t known the exact prices of these tablets. Still we can sure that they will be much cheaper than the iPad so that Asus could compete fairly with Apple. I predict that the Eee Pad Slider would cost us $649 whereas the Transformer 3G would be priced at $599 without docking kit.
Update: The Eee Pad Slider 3G is planned to launch in Q1 2012.
